Welcome to our Quick Marketing Wins series, where we feature a video with a member of the Alpha Team who has a great digital marketing tip to share.
This one comes from Alpha Strategy web developer Bader Alseleh, who works with our clients to help build custom websites, e-commerce stores and more.
Bader offers fresh insights, humour and friendly advice in the Alpha office on the daily so we think it’s time to share his brain with the world.
What We Mean by “Optimize”
We mean that we want to ensure your photos are sized right for ultimate site speed and loading times.
A slow website is a drag. Ensuring yours doesn’t lag or glitch during a visitor’s session is one of the best ways to build trust in your brand, encourage new leads and drive more sales.
In the video, Bader walks you through how to resize your photos for best performance so that you can DIY your image optimization from the comfort of your own desk.
Stay tuned for the February instalment of our new series, which can help inspire you to get more creative marketing photos and set up professional photos inside your store.
About Our Expert
What is your hidden talent?
Persistence: Sometimes, I am handed a challenging task, whether it is work-related or not. Once I get a grip of it, I don’t let go until I am satisfied with it and until I think it’s worth being presented/talked about.
What is the name of the last book you read?
How to Win Friends & Influence People, by Dale Carnegie.
Who is the most inspiring person in your life?
My mother, who has brought me up to be the person I am today. I would not be where I am today without the encouragement and the support I get from her constantly.
What do you like most about working at Alpha Strategy?
I went to school for computer science, and back then I thought I knew a lot about web development but every day here I am learning something new while working on different projects.
What do you like most about working with clients?
As someone who has a background in salesmanship, I enjoy interacting with clients and getting to know them better to help deliver, and sometimes suggest, better solutions to serve their needs.
