Growlerwerks Canada handles distribution and marketing in Canada for the flagship company based out of Portland, which designs and sells pressurized growlers for coldbrews.
About This Project
While we worked with Growlerwerks Canada for a couple of years undertaking their social media marketing, we were recently given the opportunity to makeover their Canadian website. We were provided with a copy of the US website and tasked to create a seamless iteration. We needed to stay on brand, but also create a distinction between the two markets.
Made a difference
Once the look and style were updated with the brand colours and logo design, we aimed at decluttering and reprioritizing content for the new website design. Rather than a catch-all for content, we streamlined the home page to reflect Growlerwerks high-quality visuals, their featured products, and their prominence in the media, with an “as featured in” section reflecting the attention the company has received. We defined a secondary call-to-action beyond the “shop now” CTAs to encourage newsletter sign-ups for Growlerwerks digital marketing initiatives.
Decluttering the website’s menu and reorganizing pages while creating strategic categories for the shop helped define the backend sales funnels while providing a smooth user experience for the front end. New shopping options like “gift bundles” were added while a new FAQ page now helps support customers looking for answers to questions they have about the company and its products.
This redesign required custom Shopify theme coding, and an optimized shop display, while we also added some custom graphics and designed a landing page for their new product line, uKeg GO, to help with advertising strategies.
